These terms and conditions apply to your online and in-person visit to The Lost Kitchen Devon, a trading name of Knighthayes Estate Products (UK) Ltd.

Website T&C’s

  1. The Lost Kitchen Devon is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights on our Website and in the content published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

  2. Nothing contained in the Website shall be considered as granting any licence or as a given right to use our trademark. This also applies to any third-party intellectual property displayed on our Website. Any usage will require either our prior written permission or that of any third-party owner. Any misuse of the trademarks on our Website by you is strictly prohibited.

  3. You must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors. If you would like to discuss licensing arrangements, please contact us via our website contact form.

  4. Commentary and other materials posted on our Website are not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed.

  5. Following any sort of content is done so at your own risk. We do not therefore accept any liability or responsibility from any reliance you place on such materials, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.

  6. We may provide information on plants and fungi which may have medicinal or therapeutic qualities. Such information should not be considered to be medical advice or any recommendation to try or use any of the remedies described; this content is designed as reference information. This content is not a substitute in any way for the advice of a qualified medical practitioner.

  7. You may be able to purchase goods or services on our Website. When doing this, there are separate terms that apply to your use of these services or purchase. These terms will be clearly identifiable.

  8. Please note that in some circumstances you might be entering into a contract with a third party rather than us. We will clearly notify you should this be the case and we urge you to read any third party terms carefully before placing any orders for goods and/or services to ensure you are fully aware of the terms relating to that specific transaction.

Booking Terms and Conditions

The Lost Kitchen table reservation services are provided by TableIn subject to their Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statements

We would specifically draw your attention to section 5 of the terms regarding communications from Tablein summarised for convenience below.

Marketing communications

Unless the User has agreed to the use of the Registration Information for direct marketing purposes by Tablein, third-party restaurants or other venues or selected third parties, we agree to use the Registration Information only for the purpose of supplying the Services to the User and any other purpose to which you have separately consented.

Tablein Operation of service communications:

This is separate to the marketing communications, Tablein will send the User the following for the operation of services:

  1. Notifications via email or SMS to confirm your booking details.

  2. A reminder email prior to your confirmed booking

  3. A final email post dining for the request of feedback.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Group bookings of 6+ in the restaurant

  1. A pre-order is required to be completed no later than 7 days prior to your visit, including dietary information.

  2. We expect a response within 7 days of communication from the events team, if we do not receive a response and have made efforts to phone and email you without response the booking is liable to be cancelled.

  3. Group bookings with prebooking, your table is available no earlier than 15 minutes before your booking period. Your chefs will prepare the food to be served 15 minutes after the booking time.

  4. Late arrivals: We will be unable to accommodate late arrivals by delaying food service times, this is due to all food being fresh from the fire, your guests will have the option to join in at the next available course. All items pre-ordered will be charged for.

  5. Delays to your group booking, please keep us informed of any travel delays as this will affect your booking and service times, decreasing or voiding your dining period and affecting your restaurant service.

    For Bookings with Exclusive use of the venue

  6. All bookings are pencilled in as provisional until Lost Kitchen has received full payment of the deposit.

  7. To secure a booking, we ask for a full payment of your deposit.

  8. Once a booking is made, you have 14 days to confirm with the deposit, if your booking is more than a month away.

  9. If you cancel your booking and can give more than 14 days’ notice your deposit will be refunded in full or we can transfer your deposit to a booking at a later date.

  10. If you cancel your booking and are not able to give more than 14 days’ notice your deposit may be retained in full.

How to pay your deposit

  1. To pay via BACS, please email bookings@LostKitchen.co.uk, all details will be at the bottom of the invoice.

  2. Please note we are unable to accept deposits via cheque.

  3. Deposits must be paid in one transaction.

  4. Please settle all your bills on or before the date of your booking- we do not take any post payments.

Other information

  1. Please keep us in the loop on any changes in numbers (regardless of how small), so we can fit you all in.

  2. Please inform us of any special requirements or arrangements and we will endeavour to meet them for you wherever possible.

  3. Lost Kitchen accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to any items left on our premises. All items are left entirely at the owner’s risk.

  4. Please note that all our menus are subject to seasonal and price change.

  5. Please note private hire larger groups will be split across multiple tables.

  6. A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to tables (historically and currently all of which goes to our lovely Lost Kitchen staff).

Loss, Damage, Injury:

  1. The Lost Kitchen next to a working farm. We accept no responsibility for any injury that the visitor could reasonably have avoided by following advice that appears on our website, maps and signs around the venue. As regards any property, we are only responsible for any loss or damage to such if caused by us whilst you are visiting the venue.

Visitor T&C’s

  1. These terms and conditions apply to your visit to The Lost Kitchen.

  2. The Lost Kitchen is a trading name of Knightshayes Estate Products (UK) Limited (registered in England and Wales with company number 08496160

  3. All prices are correct at the time of publishing. However, they are subject to change without prior notice.

  4. We reserve the right to refuse the service or entry to any part of The Lost Kitchen, where it is reasonable for us to do so.

  5. Opening hours, events and offers are subject to change and from time to time, at peak times, it may be necessary for The Lost Kitchen to close the restrict walk in’s and control the total number of visitors. The Lost Kitchen reserves the right to restrict entry if at any time it is deemed necessary or appropriate to do so.

  6. For technical or operational reasons, some facilities may be removed or closed or entertainment cancelled and/or altered at any time. The Lost Kitchen reserves the right to change the programme of attractions and entertainment if at any time it is deemed necessary or appropriate to do so.

  7. While we will endeavour to publicise any such changes on our website and social media, we strongly advise checking the relevant details by visiting www.lostkitchen.co.uk or calling Reservations before you visit.

  8. In the event of a cancellation or closure, The Lost Kitchen accepts no responsibility for travel, accommodation and any other associated costs.

  9. The Lost Kitchen is an inclusive organisation, and we value and respect the diversity of our visitors, communities and our colleagues. Any behaviour towards our colleagues or other visitors which contradicts this will not be tolerated, and visitors will be asked to leave.

  10. The Lost Kitchen is part of a working farm. We accept no responsibility for any injury that the visitor could reasonably have avoided by following advice that appears on our website, maps and signs around the Estate.

  11. The Lost Kitchen shall have no responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by you or occurring to any items belonging to you, other than in the event of death or personal injury occurring to you as the result of The Lost Kitchen.

  12. The Lost Kitchen will not be responsible for any loss or any expense due to circumstances beyond The Lost Kitchen control.

  13. Drone filming is not permitted over the Estate without prior consent from The Lost Kitchen.

  14. Commercial photography and filming (including wedding or engagement photography) is not permitted anywhere on the Estate without prior consent from The Lost Kitchen.

  15. Any images captured during permitted photography or filming may not be publicly distributed without prior permission from The Lost Kitchen.

  16. Guest are not permitted to bring their own picnic, for consumption, into the grounds used by The Lost Kitchen.

  17. The use of BBQs - disposable or otherwise - is not permitted anywhere on the Estate at The Lost Kitchen.

  18. Dogs, other than assistance dogs, are not permitted anywhere on the Estate at The Lost Kitchen.

  19. The following items are prohibited within the boundary of the premises: Any items which are or appear to be illegal / Weapons, ammunition, explosives, horns, whistles, drums, fireworks, flagpoles, banners, balloons, sporting equipment, large umbrellas or any other item which in our reasonable opinion may cause danger or disruption to any event, to other visitors, staff or resident wildlife.

  20. As a visitor to The Lost Kitchen consent to being photographed, filmed or sound recorded for use on TV, websites, social media, DVD, webcast, promotional materials, or other public mediums, as part of the audience, or by security CCTV. Signs are put up to make visitors aware of when filming and photography is taking place, and there is CCTV coverage across the site. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please do not remain in the area being filmed or photographed.

  21. Any special offers, vouchers, incentives (financial or otherwise) or correspondence addressed to a specific email address is intended for the exclusive use of the individual to whom the email account belongs. All offers are non-transferable.
