
Group Booking & Private Parties
Large Group Private Bookings (Thursday evenings)
• At The Lost Kitchen we serve a seasonal banquet-style party menu, this means there is a choice for everyone, without having to make choices!
• To Start: each table gets an antipasti platter which has a variety of rare-breed cured meats from the southwest (all our meats are outdoor reared from small farms), along with roast seasonal vegetables and delicious dips, with our own focaccia or sourdough.
• For Main Course: each table has platters of meat, fish and vegetarian for everyone to get stuck into, with vegetable platters also included.
• For Dessert: choose one of the following to be decadently served to the middle of the table; Almond Genoise with Seasonal Fruit and Cream, Buckwheat Brownie and Ice Cream or Eton Mess board (meringues stuffed with whipped cream and fruit).
If you or your guests have dietary requirements, we will discuss these at the time of booking, or if you want an exclusively vegetarian or vegan menu our executive chef will design this for you.

In the interest of the environment and other diners, we discourage balloons, glitter, and confetti. Please discuss your decorations with the events team.
Our maximum guest number is 12.

For private hire, we require a 40 ph payment in full in order to confirm a private hire so if you are thinking of going ahead with the booking then please contact the restaurant as soon as possible!

We offer a delicious celebration of Almond Genoise cake as part of our 3-course set party menu, however, we appreciate guests sometimes have something extra special planned. If you would like to bring your own cake then charges apply

•£10: Up to 10 people
•£20: 10 – 20 people
•£30: 30 +
•Large parties over 50 please enquire.This covers the cost of managing the crockery and serving/clearing.

Lost Kitchen asks for a deposit to secure event bookings.
Should you need to change the booking two weeks or more before the event 50% of the deposit is returnable or transferable to another date.
With less than two weeks’ notice, the deposit is non-refundable.

You are welcome to have flowers for the table delivered, we have some florists that we work with who offer both British-grown blooms grown locally or preserved flower arrangements. You can contact Jan Boddington of

Our maximum group booking size is 12 persons during our usual opening hours, with pre-ordering for groups of 10 and over.

*Private hire for Wednesday and Thursday evenings has a minimum 40 maximum of 60 persons.

Our minimum booking charge is for 40 guests, with a 60-guest maximum capacity.
We work on a minimum-spend basis. How you apportion that spend is entirely up to you. If you want 30 guests just 2 courses and loads of Champagne, that’s fine. Or alternatively, you can have 3 courses and stick to wine... whatever you prefer!
For private hire groups, we require a deposit.

Our suggested service charge is 10%.

We don’t host weddings or large exclusive use for weddings.
You may make up to 12 person booking which would be during our normal daytime service ordering on the day or pre-ordering for groups of 10 or more.
We can not sit more than 12 people at one table comfortably.
